Something really special happened this past week in the world of international relations.

An English King visited America and congratulated Americans on gaining independence from an English King.

Unprecedented, it seems a new era has begun in the world of international relations. The visit was as symbolic as symbolism can get. Generalized interpretation of that above sentence doesn’t really shed any light on what really happened. It is an English King but a different one. It is an American public but a different one. When details are analysed, we see that a friendly handshake occurred and a reach out to bridge old gaps, closing animosities and starting anew with future as promising for both sides as in win win situation.

At least that’s how I viewed it.
